Hi Everyone I am from Australia but I know we have a lot of you here from U.S.A and it is coming up to your Thanksgiving then Christmas or other Holiday's So Try to Remember RA Doesn't take Holidays
you need to Plan around it ;
Rest
Drink - non Alcoholic
this one is Hard I know But - Ask For Help
Monitor your Medications so you don't run low on anything
remember it is only a Day and not worth putting yourself in hospital over, i'm sure your loved ones would rather be with You happy and a messy house or even a takeaway dinner than without you and a perfect Turkey dinner sitting there.
wear light easy clothing soft on joints & easy to move around in
position chairs or seats around the house so you can plop down when you need to
Eat Well I know you may be cooking for others but remember to eat well yourself quick easy meals snack on fruit instead of lollies or salty snacks, ( I can talk i'm a bad one for eating Salty chips (crisps) and love chocolate I try to eat fruit but often don't ) but hay even if you have one piece of fruit in-between the snacks
those of us in Australia have the Hot Weather to deal with (well usually not sure the way its been lately) But you need to keep hydrated- Drink
Those that are able to get out and shop Take your time if you miss one sale there will be another and again ask for help get someone to go with you
oh and did I say REST
and remember the Holidays are Not meant to be a test they should be a time for Loving family & friends You included
