Hi Thanks hay Beth don't you love these Drs that have Never had Pain trying to tell you oh it's a Little pressure, I think as part of their training they need to have some of these things done to them.
I had to have a Blood Gas taken when I had my heart attack and it HURT Like Heck they Slammed a needle into my vein in wrist , So anyway last year my Cardiologist wanted another one done and I was Panicking so I go to my local hospital shacking and the Dr comes over says he puts local anesetic in first then dose it ,when I told him how the last one was he shook his head and said "Obviously They have never had one done I bet they would want local" so needless to say I hardly felt a thing!!
Anyway about
the Hip Today-Friday is the First time I have been able to get online I've been Too Sick OH YES I Was Wanting this injection I was in A lot of Pain and I had previously had them in the shoulder, legs (but not hip) and Wrist (Yes That Hurt)
well I got there and t was done via an ultra sound not CT and was told it was a combination of anesthetic and Cortisone well it went ok did start to hurt when it felt like he was trying to push thru leather but that didn't last too long, so home I go and now Hip Hurting More
then about
an hour or so latter I Get a HEADACH Whamy this is a migraine so I laid down hoping it will pass but it got Worse so Hubby put me to bed - oh and I had to use my walker frame cos Hip Really Sore I then slept most of the day only to wake up unable to lift my head the headache is So Bad Next day no better, then Thursday the hip was a bit better at least I could walk again but the headache did not ease then finally today it has gone but Seriously 3 Days of Nightmare
I must have reacted to it somehow - and my Hip is a little better but Still sore but she did say it can take a week to get full impact,
Just to add to this it is Now Saturday and my Hip is Back to the same as before the injection actually Sorer so I think it might be something that an injection will not fix.
