My general doctor did a couple of blood tests that gave me a positive ANA and a RA factor that got higher each time she tested it. So she told me to find an RA doctor, so I did. One doctor tried medications that (to me) didn't work. The other doctor said that she did all the testingredients she could do & since I said the medications didn't help, she didn't know want else to do. So I dealt with the discomfort for a while until my husband convinced me to go to the doctors in Miami. They did more extensive blood work I had a positive ANA & my RNP was 1.9 so she said I have Mixed Connective Tissue Disorder. She sent me to have a Nerve Conduction study, after the results of the test she said I have some muscle problem. The doctor that conducted the Nerve conduction study said himself that I have MCTD, early stage. Which finally made me feel sain! With all of my symptoms it all made sense. Until the RA doctor said it was something else. Now I don't know what to think! All I know is how I feel EVERYDAY! The pins and needles, sensitivity to cold, extreme fatigue, muscle weakness, mood swings, depression, intolerance to direct light, small seizures (before the kolonopin). I can't think of the rest right now
