Anyone experience horrible headaches, diarrhea, back & neck pain from sulfasalazine? This is worse than the pain from the RA and Lyme.

I haven't experienced most of these side effects although they are some side effects of Sulfasalazine.
Sorry that you are getting these. Usually, some symptoms appear at the beginning of taking a drug but go away after taking a drug for a while. You should ask your Doctor about
these symptoms. He should be testing you for anemia, etc. He will probably take you off of the Sulfa. Give him a call.

Hi msOuchie, thank you for the reply. I did speak with doctor and he took me off the sulfasalazine. Said it would take about
a week for side effects to fully resolve. The side effects from this rivaled the ones I had from plaquenil. Horrible is all that can be said for both drugs.
