Just a quick question to you all. When my RA flares or my meds quit working on my I just give completely out. I mean go to bed and sleep and sleep kind of give out tired. Is that they way y’all feel as well? I am between meds right now and it is just exhausting for me. Praise God I don’t have little ones anymore. I just can’t function. Just wondering if y’all could weigh in on it.

Hi Peggy Sorry to hear your having troubles Yes the Fatigue is a Huge part of RA and one that according to my Rheumatologist they can do very little for
I have the flu at moment and it has hit me So hard seems anything out of the "normal" and our fatigue goes Crazy , i'm finding it hard to lift a cup or walk to bathroom without stopping for a rest
hope you get some Medications that can help as it is hard to find that just right mix

I am so very sorry for you. The flu is the devil especially when you have ra. My doctor jacked my prednisone up to 10mg a day until I can get the new ra medicine. So here I go with my eating and crabbiness and blowing up. Only to have to wean back down again. But at least for now I feel better. I pray you are feeling better. Hugs to you my friend

Fatigue was the major symptom that lead to my diagnosis of RA. I had very little joint pain and never even considered arthritis in my 30's but I was so tired all the time I went to my dr. He threw in the RA test just to rule it out and low and behold, it was positive. I went to a rheumatologist and started metheltrexate and humera and felt so much better. So yes, fatigue is a major symptom. Unfortunately I've since developed fibromyalgia and am back to being tired all the time. I hope you feel better.
