Low-Dose prednisone

I was diagnosed with RA in February, 2021. I am 75 years old and am considering a regime of only low-dose prednisone. I have been on it successfully now for 2 months.
I would appreciate any thoughts and experiences.

Hi!
I have been reading this forum now for awhile but decided to join so I can post! I was diagnosed with RA in January 2021 after 6 long years of trying to find out what was wrong. I am taking low dose prednisone (10MG) per day along with Plaquenil and I feel so much better! I was so stiff I could barely move and right now I feel almost normal (as normal as I can be).

Hi everyone,
I just had a neuro workup for RA and a few other inflammatory diseases. I was put on a double dose of Celebrex for a few weeks. I do feel better and in a few days go back to the dr to see what is my problem. My dr said she thinks I may have polymyalgia rheumatica. I don't know but the stiffness and pain is getting unbearable. My heart goes out to everyone here suffering. I pray everyday for us all. Thanks for listening.
