How to not have anxiety to take the prednisone medication though.

I will have to take some prednisone medication for my joint pain though. I have some anxiety to take it. Does anyone know what kind of side effects the prednisone medication has. Does this medication work well for joint pain. Can someone give me some advice on this. Thanks.

When you pick up your prescription be sure to read the printout that the pharmacy attaches. Prednisone affects people differently, some have no issue with it, while others may. What milligram will you be on & for how long? Prednisone can help a lot with arthritis pain.

Susie is right on the money with her thoughts on pred. Since you don't say why you are taking pred and for how long or what dosage its really hard to give advice.

I will say this--it works well for inflammatory issues. I take it for PMR which it helps and a side benefit is my hands and feet have never felt better.

Thanks. The person that I see said that he will try out the medication on me. I will be on the prednisone medication on 10mg for ten days though. I think it would be nice if I don't get any side effects on it. It would be even better if it helps with my joint pain. Thanks.

You should do fine, 10mg is a very low dose & you are going to be on it a short time. I've done those 10 day packs before & never had an issue & yes it should help your pain.
