Good Moaning Healing Well V10

Hey all, gonna pipe in my moaning  - if you haven't picked it up in my other posts tonight.

Been sick all week. Too much Motrin this past month has done me in. My liver is officially on the fritz again...everything from the rib cage to pelvic bone is screaming. The fatigue is insane. If I haven't already had mono twice in my life, I'd swear I have it now (or I was preggers, which I am definitely not - which made me think miscarriage except I was "right on time." - sorry guys!) Now the joints are crying because I haven't taken any meds all week. My gut is still not happy - I don't know if it's just the liver, I've got a bug, or something else is going on. The cramping is all over the place and when the fatigue hits, I can't blink w/o falling asleep.

Of course, maybe some of this is my fault as well, so I feel stupid for complaining. I could tell the Motrin was getting to the liver 2 weeks ago and I didn't take better precautions.  Well, at least last week I didn't when I had company down (staying with me) and not only did I over do it for the week, but my eating habits were horrible with eating out, eating quick (meaning not healthy), and I'm sure eating too big of meals most of the week. Knowing my liver was already acting up, I should have been much smarter, but went with convenience instead. I started to cut back on the Motrin as best I could, but the pms cramping and the joints were too much and I started taking it again since I didn't want to be down and out with visitors here.

Anyway, I know you all are dealing with much more, so I'm sorry for venting such stupid stuff. I guess it doesn't really belong in this forum anyway, but here's where I hang. Have a good weekend everyone ***

I had some breakfast, and my stomach is cramping and grumbling a bit, but so far not as bad as it was. My son is complaining HIS stomach hurts this morning which leads me to believe some of what I've had is a bug. I've been trying to eat light this week (when I can eat) and will wait it out.  The fact I get really tired after I eat concerns me about the diabetes issue we discussed in the other post - I know I've been borderline diabetic because of my liver and weight issues.

Speaking of, I wrote you a long reply in the other post.

No, I haven't gone to the doctor....I'm still waaaaay over due to see everyone. I think I'm going to change rhuemy's - the clinic I go to opened up an office right by my house (yeah!) I've hesitated changing because the doc I was seeing was just getting me started on Enbrel, but since I've held off taking it for now, I guess there is no reason not switch at this point. I think one of the doctor's near me is a woman as well - I wonder if that is a good thing?

I hate spending $25 bucks to be given a guess or a shoulder shrug followed by a "loose weight" when I need help in that subject because of all these issues. Though, I think some of it at this point is I'm scared to hear bad news as well. You know, the stupid way of thinking - "if I ignore it, maybe it will disappear" take on it all.  

The job is going okay. It's been easy so far, but they are going to start putting me on projects soon.   Oh well, the easy ride was nice while it lasted.   The 24 hours seem just right, any more is too much, that is for sure. Sometimes I wonder if I'll survive 24! I know, that's pathetic - but considering I spent more time in bed than anything else these past 15 months,  I guess I should be happy I'm doing what I am so far. I just hope I can continue it as I've completely given up on SDI for now and hope my doctor doesn't pitch a fit when she finds out i went back to work.

Yeah, ElCamino! How awesome is that to wake up to!?  I'm so glad to hear that and I hope it continues!

I have not started Enbrel, that's one reason why switching now might be a good idea.

although my honey is peacefully choppin' wood in bed.  no fair!  nah, i wish him the best sleep in the world.

i'm sour!  ok, no sleep.  severe joint pain.  and the worst part is my finger is deformed. yeah...what the he**?  awe man, and ya know what?

let's see...on the sunny side of the street:  had a great weekend with my honey.

did anyone watch the Preakness?  wasn't that sad with Barabaro? i cried my heart out.  if the horse was just a regular newbie, they would have put it down right there...but the surgery went well.  so if he can stud at least; perhaps he'll have a good chance @ life.  thing is, he needs the leg to stand on.  so i pray he's OK. 

my boyfriend's horse ran yesterday! 1st time she ran against the big guns who've all won before.  she broke her maiden last month & took 1st...but yesterday she was leading ALL THE WAY...then died off to place 3rd.  not bad.  she did good. "Distant Bells" is her name.  Ducky i'll send ya a pic of her later on.

i hear ya, the storms are crazy.  sunny now. 

what is up with this finger?    felt funny for like 3 days & now it's just bent to the right and HURTS!  didn't think that joint deformity could come on THAT quick. i mean, my hands hurt particularly worse this month, but this is weird.  guess a splint?  see rheummy dude on the 9th....i can give em' the finger! LOL.

Erin,  Sorry to hear that you're sick.  Hope you're feeling better soon, and can get some sleep.  That is so cool that your PCP mails you your bloodwork results.  My PCP doesn't even think of offering me a copy, much less mailing them to me.  It's like pulling teeth to even get him to share the results.  That's why I'm switching.

I'm feeling about the same I do every Thursday.  I hurt.  But it's towards the end of the week, and I do my enbrel injection on Saturdays now.  Usually by Friday, I have trouble walking in the morning.  I'm sure once the tramadol kicks in I feel a bit better today.  Since I started the enbrel, though, I do have a lot more energy and I no longer feel like I'm getting flu.  That feeling on top of joint pains is horrible.

This is my Friday, as I took of work tomorrow!  I have a nice 4 day weekend!  Happy Memorial Day everyone!  Any interesting plans?  WE don't have any yet, but I'm open for suggestions!

I hope you make your wedding too Erin.   Now, are you the one getting married?!  If you're it, there's no way you're gonna spend it in the john.  I hope your tummy settles down soon, at least through the weekend.

It is FRIDAY and I'm not at work!  WOO-HOO!  It is a 4 day weekend for me!  Yippee!  So what am I gonna do?  I get to cook all day for a cookout that my hubby is having at his work... It never ends does it? 

Erin, how you feeling today?  I do hope you get your pooper in check!  Are you still able to do some of the prep for the wedding?  Take it easy, 'cause you know you'll be shakin' it at the wedding!  Save your strength for then!

Elcamino, it's Friday, are you ok?  Like Erin said, can you take your shot a day early?  What's the status of your insurance and getting you your additional 50 mg of Enbrel?  You make plans yet for this weekend?  I think me and my hubby are going to lay SOD tomorrow.. Do we know how to party or what? 

CaMama how are you?  I feel like I haven't talked to you in FOREVER.  How's the babies?  I know they're not babies anymore, but their our kids, so I refer to them as babies... Are you still working?  How is that going? 

Well, I'm off to shower, and get to the store so I can buy burgers, brats, and stuff to make: baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad and brownies... I'm gonna be cooking all morning... Oh well... It'll be good eatin'!
