Sick again???

I have to know is this going to be a common occurrence now?  I just got over bronchitis about 2 weeks ago and now I have bronchitis, ear infection, and really sore throat yet again.  Except this time I really feel like I have been hit by a truck and I have to cook for a party tonight and I really don't want to go.  Is it because of the meds?  Does the body adjust?  How can I continue to function if I end up always sick?  Yes, I am whining yet again but man I just feel horrible and want to crawl in bed and stay there but I can't.

Hey Theresa... sorry you feel so bad.. I forget, what meds are you on again? It is the cold and flu season, if you are on meds that lower your immune system, then that will explain why you keep getting sick... I know how you feel... I love the winter, but I hate getting sick.. .Hang in there, and try not to over do it... I know, it is easier said than done, but it is work a shott! :)

Thanks Duck. I am on 17.5mg of pred and 20mg mtx. Really feeling horrid tonight. Have a feeling this is going to by my winter. Uggghh.... Guess i need to put a call in for an antibiotic again.

oh sry bloo , did u get the flu shot? i really think it helped me stay healthier. heck i got mine mid stream with a BAD cough, no fever and for me i am all better since. i hope u get better soon and if u didnt get a shot as soon as you are better maybe u can get one for the rest of the season? have some chicken soup on me and rest up for the holidays.

No luck with the flu shot. I don't have time to stand in lines and everytime I call the docs offices they are all out. Even for my lil man. So, guess we are going to tough it out this season. Oooh lucky us. I was hoping 3 days into this I would be getting better but seems the fever started tonight and I can't call into work either and of course tomorrow is a 10 hour shift. I did have a question though. I lost my instruction sheet. Am I supposed to get antibiotics every time I am sick. I got this impression but now I am not sure. They might as well just hook me up to an IV of them for the season.

Went to my GP for the Cough, cold, ears, throat, head thing. Seems its going around she says. The first four words out of her mouth were... eww, maan, ewww, strep test! Don't have strep but my ears and throat are pretty bad she says. What is bothering the most is the ears and the pure exhaustion. It seems to take every bit of energy for me to lift my arms over my head. Doc says to expect it and that this might be my winter with the meds I am currently taking.... ohhh whhoooppeee. Well, I left work to go to this appt., went back to work only to leave again because I just couldn't do it... I was pretty useless there today. So scared everyone was going to get pissed at me, maybe they are, but I don't really care what good am I if I am moving at the pace of a slug except backwards? Plus I can't hear a darned thing. I actually feel like I need a few days off, but the last thing I heard from the boss was since you are leaving early today I expect you in tomorrow.... blah blah... Anywho. I started z-pak again today and Advair for the bronchitis/cough. They put refills on the z-pak this time so does this mean I don't have to go in for a visit each time I get sick now? No one really explained it.

you know what i would do next time your boss gets sarcastic about your being sick? cough on him hehehehehehe and apologize hehehehehehe ok maybe not but we can think of silly things cant we? :)

oh i feel so mean for typing that but it is what i was thinking when i was reading your post. cough on the jerk and let him know what it is like to be sick. bad yalinda! so i have an teenie tiny evil side?
