Mom2-3 - bear is right. Having my 2nd spurred such a horrid autoimmune response, I was non-stop sick until he was 4 and my life was at stake more than once. I know you have a lot invested in the IVF, but should you decide to go through with it, make sure you have a lot of support and help around you to ensure you get the rest you need during and after pregancy. Having the baby alone is going to be hard enough on your body.
Bear, I'm sorry my sickies came your way. Monday is our Memorial Holiday here (I'm assuming it might be the same holiday there.) We're supposed to have bad weather here as well....but, we've had a pretty rotten May as May's go....that's why everyone is sick, I believe.
Yes, the doctor called in antibiotics for me. The Z-pack is zithromycin or something of the sorts. It's a 2 pill initial dose (which I took yesterday) and then 1 pill a day for 4 more days. My throat isn't all better - but it is a LOT better than it was this time yesterday morning. So, it's either a coincidence, or that initial dose did help quite a bit. My ears hurt more and are plugged, but hopefully, that'll go away as well - with this weather, my sinus's are probably going bananas like my kid's are. I guess I could take ONE MORE pill to help the the ears/nose.
Feel better everyone! ***
