I am really perplexed. I realized last night that my mouth is full of blisters. I have had a sore throat for well over a year, but besides the red, drs did not find anything. My pcp did try antibiotics, but the sore throat persisted.
I often take pictures of my mouth to show the doctors if I have mouth sores (different appearing sores get treated differently, and sometimes, they are come and go, or the dr sees them in the healing phase). Last night, I realized that what I thought were spit bubbles were blisters. They are all over, but to see them, the flash has to hit them right. You can tell the difference because spit bubbles have a distinct border, but these do not. I am linking to a picture, but since it is of my mouth, some may be squeemish. I do not think it is that bad, but some may disagree. You have been warned. :) (If the link does not show the full size picture, click on the picture again so that you can see where I circles and the numbers.
i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p486/SoSt9/Medical/mouth_zpsa19bb09a.jpgI had originally assumed that these were all related to Sjogren's (except #1. I have no clue what those are). Anyway:
1. Blisters
2. A sore that has formed around a blister that is probably about
to pop (you can't see it very well since my soft pallet is raised, but I almost always have a sore there)
3. Blackish colored dots that are on the left side of my mouth (I think there are 5 of them - they are not trauma related)
4. Irritation that is very sore behind my upper molar.
5. More blisters, but you can't see them from this angle, however these have red under them. Most others do not.
My dr gave me some oral Nystatin (nasty stuff) and is sending me to a dermatologist (For my mouth??)
I think I may have something that the nystatin was will help, but I don't think it will touch the bubbles. I could be wrong though.
Has ANYONE here had something like this? I can't even find many pictures of it on the net.
