problems emptying the bladder

I sit on the toilet and my urine stops and starts. I lean in a different direction, and it starts again. Even after all of that, sometimes when I stand up, I still leak and it can be a lot of leakage. Does anyone else have this problem?

How awful MagieMc!!! You need to see a urologist! I have a problem starting a urine flow, but have so many other problems that I've ignored it. I did ask my rheumy if this was a urologist problem or a nephrologist (kidney) problem and he replied, "Urologist. It's the canteen not the bean." I'd really like to know what you find. Butterflake, I was told today by my internist that I am having bladder spasms. This is the reason I am having difficulty emptying my bladder. Only problem is that muscle relaxers will dry me out, so he really didn't want to prescribe any for fear of making the Sjogrens worse.
