Cochlear Hydrops related to Sjogren's?

Today, the dr informed me that my left eye, despite the plugs, is very, very dry (I have to start Restasis (sp?) as soon as my insurance approves it). the Salagen doesn't seem to be touching it either. My Rheumatologist seems to be treating the Sjogren's as primary, but I wonder.

Lately, I have been having migraines (could they be from dry eyes?) and last week, I was diagnosed with Cochlear Hydrops. I am not sure how that could relate to Sjogren's, but what if I have something that makes all these conditions secondary conditions? I am not sure what it could be, but looking at my signature below, that is a lot of things to have.

Does anyone here have Cochlear Hydrops? Do you find that it is related at all to Sjogrens, and do you have these as a secondary or primary?

The answer is no, cochlear hydrops also known as Meniere's disease is a seperate diagnosis and not related to Sjogrens. However, with Sjogrens being an autoimmune disease the folowing is usually true, once you get one autoimmune others can follow.
I have a few doctors that think I might have meniere's, and I think vertigo testing ruled it in, but I also get migraines which is also a seperate disease from sjogrens...

I also have Rayaunds, asthma, fibro, RA and other dx's...it can be hard at times but maybe you should seek out an internist doctor to help cordinate your treatment plan...
I also have upper and lower eye lid plugs and restasis didn't help much, but is worth a try, google restasis as they have a program where if you buy six packs you get the 7th one free, but you need to register for there program ...hope this helps....

I think I might have asked the wrong way, but I thank you for answering :)

I meant to ask if Sjogrens could help contribute to the Hydrops (not cause it) - it does have to do with the balance of minerals within the liquid in the inner ear. If I have too much sodium, then the fluid becomes out of balance one way, and swings the other if I do not have enough sodium. I also have to make sure I drink enough (but not too much) water to help this fluid level too (and to flush things out). If Sjogrens drys things out, then couldn't it dry out this fluid level too, leaving it harder to control (leaving the concentration of sodium too high)?
