Dry flakey eyelid skin, a Sjogrens symptom?

Anyone have this? I thought it was seasonal allergies, now I'm re-thinking. One of the few causes I'm trying to eliminate is Sojogrens. I have not read about any blood test for this disease.......??

I've been putting coconut oil on my eyelids, hand lotion stung. Without it , my 'lids look like dried leather and begin to flake. They open fine in the morning, no gunk, and ayes arent dry, rather watery at times. Just my eyelids are dried up.

Eye Dr is stumped, said its not blepharitis. My past experience with dermatologists is that they aren't all that bright, so have not asked one about this.

I do have two autoimmune conditions, hashi thyroid and vitaligo. Lyme disease is also part of my life, but this is not a know lyme symptom (although, anything can be from what I've learned).

any help is appreciated in my process of elimination : )

FWIW, I've had a similar issue with my eyes happen to me nearly every winter for the past few years. Very dry flakey looking skin - it never got leathery looking but just a patch or two toward the outer edge of the upper lid. I've not ever thought a thing about it other than that my skin was being affected by living in the cold of the north half of the US. I'm brand new to this forum as of today, so I don't have any official diagnosis yet. I am seeing a Rhuemy tomorrow with having tested positive for Lupus the week before Christmas. My PC also suspects Sjrogren's due to excessive dry mouth and dry eyes.
