Sjogrens : anybody feel hot all the time

I saw that someone else mentioned they felt like they had a faulty thermostat in their body also, everyday, if it's not 70 or below I sweat and feel horrible. Most people with sjogrens don't report this.

Yes I've got one good faulty thermostate smilewinkgrin

You do have sweats with sjogrens because it affects the glands and women around the menopause really feel it.

What makes it a lot worse for myself is having raynauds, once the sweats ease off the blood vessels shut down and I go freezing, like I am now while typing.

I'm 30 year old and I'm burning up between about 9:00pm-11:00am everyday. I feel a little crazy, but I'm wondering if I'm going through menopause really early. I've noticed if I eat soy products for dinner it's less of a problem. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Are there any other women around my age on here experiencing this?

Hi Terry,
You are not alone ,I am just like you .Below 65 does that to me also and above 85 F .

I start feeling sick right away .

Thyroid also causes these issues I know .

Yes, sometimes my skin just feels hot. I make sure to take my estrogen. If I don't, it gets worse. I am in my 60's and had menopause very early ( in my early 40"s). That was the start of all this auto immune stuff.

Yes, but I was told it was because I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago and abruptly stopped taking my HRT, that I was going through a second menopause. It has subsided, however, I still feel unbearably hot while at the same time my feet are always cold. I can live with that for now. However, I've been on generic plaquenil for the same 3 years because of RA symptoms which were life altering. Now I've developed incessant itching. All my autoimmune stuff started in the 90's as a result of breast implants (removed). Also developed GERD. Now I read all this is related. Thank goodness I found this thread. Even though I still have issues, I can put a name on the culprit and it's Sjogrens. What I don't understand is that I took generic plaquenil for 2 1/2 years before this showed up. How long will it take after I discontinue before itching stops?
