Hello, its been a long time since Ive been on. I ame blessed withe Sjrogrens as well as a laundry list of other issues including a relatively new amputation. My joint pain, all over pain and discomfirt comes frome many different places. 4 months ago I began taking CBD. It does not hgelp with dryness but its been a Godsend for the pain. Itscquite expensive and you have to make sure it s high quality with third party testing.Im having far less pain. If anyone is interested I get mine online from Lazurus Naturals. They offer a 40% discount for service members and vets, disabled and financial needs. You just fax the paperwork, are approved or not and then when you sign into the site the discounted price comes up for you. I currently am taking 50mg 3x day. Have not given up any of my other meds but whgen added to them wow wat a difference. Just a FYI
Good luck everyone

Thanks. I've been wondering if there's an advantage for us SS sufferers.

MinnyMouse,
I too take CBD oil (sub-lingual) as recommended by my rheumatologist. You are not kidding about
how expensive it is to get a good quality oil (yikes)! I currently take Leef Organics and have not had an issue with it because it contains less than 1% THC. I am also under treatment from a pain management doctor, so I have to pass a drug test every 2 months. Do you happen to know how much THC is in Lazurus Naturals product? I’d love to give it a try.

Have you compared to Elixinol? I am not sure if it in apples to apples with this but two thumb's up with this company imo. It is available from a website by the same name.

I have not tried Elixinol, what exactly is it? I tried looking it up but did not understand if it is a CBD oil or not? I am very leery of trying just any CBD because they need to have less than 1% THC. I am under the care of a pain management doctor and am drug tested every other month. Anything that is not a pure CBD extract with less than 1% THC will show up as an illegal drug and I’ll be dismissed by my doctor.

Hi Melissa, Elixinol is a brand. They have a website. Somebody who knows about
CBD etc. had told me about
the site and I tried it and have really been impressed. I was suggested to try a low 'dose' at 300 mgs and that always seems like a good idea...start low. I have been told you do not build a tolerance to this, so low sounds reasonable. Read the info on the website and see what you think. I asked my pain mgt provider about
it and he said 'you never know what you are getting with cbd oil' though that is not really true. I asked about
being a problem for testing etc. and he said it was OK. I can't really guarantee that is OK so check with your Dr. but that site is very good imo. I do not think it has THC but again, check. Good luck!
