Anyone with persistent gland swelling? Have MRI scheduled...

One of our former members, Butterflake, had this issue. I can't remember if she posted about it or not. You might try searching for "butterflake, gland" to see if there is anything.

Ironically, my husband just had this. It was like having the mumps his glands were so infected. At first the PCP thought it was the big C. Sent him to the ENT doc. After many months of heat, manipulation and sour stuff, the doctor removed it through the gland under the tongue. It was very painful and has required prednisone and antibiotics to help him through the recovery period. I never even knew this existed so I just wanted to add what I know of the issue.
