I know that most of us are using Restasis twice a day for dry eyes. Just wanted to let you know. My eyes have been so dry , they hurt. I called my eye doctor and he prescribed for me Lotamax. Its. A steroid treatment for when its really bad. You cant use it long term. Only 7 days . When i put those drops in my eyes stopped hurting and I could see. Just wanted to pass it on.

There are other otc drops you can also use along with the restasis, like Blink and GenTeal eye drops, I use many eye drops and I also have eye tear duct plugs. The steroid can help but make sure not to use it for very long. also try boiling and eye, and then wrapping it in a towel and putting it on your eye it provides better moist heat than a warmed up wash cloth wrapped in a wooden spoon and it stays warm longer.
