Hi Gabby. I have some tips for dry skin. When you bathe or shower make sure the water isn't hot. I should be lukewarm. Before you dry off rub baby oil (or the oil of your choice) all over and then dry off. Yeah, you get oil on your towel so you might want to use it just to dry off. I also use Eucerin cream in a jar.
Well, I've also had badly cracked heals, but I had a more unusual problem which led me to a dermatologist. For a couple of years I thought I had ingrown fingernails. My rheumy didn't know how to treat it and my PC gave me the name of a dermatologist who works with autoimmune diseases. She told me my fingernails were not ingrown. The sides of my fingernails were lifting off the nail bed. She prescribed 40% Urea Cream. Each night I apply it to my fingernails, toenails, and heals. My cracked heals were better with just a couple of applications. My nails took longer, but they are much better now. So, like finally said, you should probably see a dermatologist for one of their magic potions. Let us know if the bath stuff helps and/or you see a dermatologist. Love, Butterflake
