Finally an answer

So, I got my lip biopsy report back and it was positive. I can't say how much peace of mind and relief it gave me to finally have a diagnosis. I don't think I could name all the problems I've had. It's just not normal for people to be sick like this. And, the fatigue has been debilitating. So, I'll be hanging out here some. Now, I wonder how long I've actually had this? I've had it all, the dental problems, the horrible GERD, relentless dryness, joint pain, fatigue, bad UTI's, red eyes, you name it. I'm a little worried about some of the severe things like lymphoma.

Do many people with Sjogren's file for disability? I am just so fatigued and tired. It's so hard to work like this. I have private disability insurance as well.

I don't think Sjogrens is listed as one of the disease that ss pays for, there is a federal US government website to find out more about disease covered for disability, it's a dot gov website...(sorry memory fog hard to think)

I do know you can get disability for depression....

At least you got an answer and can start on a medication, but get into your eye doctor first before starting meds to get base line pictures of your corneas....

There are many different eye plugs if your eye dryness gets worse, I 've had many plugs placed...and tomorrow will get new plugs possibly...might have to get an eye antibotic first...

Sjogrens is a listing with SS disability. You do have to have the medical to back it up and meet certain criteria also.
