I have a valid excuse for being aiwal [img]/community/emoticons/yeah.gif[/img] My daughter in law Sandy gave birth to twin girls yesterday morning [img]/community/emoticons/tongue.gif[/img] ... my son is only 20 and these two kids have made a bit of a muck up .. but they love each other and Sandys mother is as supportive as I am .. so they will be fine , Sandy is 23 so not such a baby .


My son couldnt stop crying yesterday he is so overwhelmed with his little daughters ...he has been a difficult boy , but is pulling through for Sandy and the babies and thats what counts ... he is also bipolar , and is battling to stay of drugs .. he has been clean 2 months now .


Im going to see them next week , they are far awy , so ill be flying up.

Congratulations grandma!  And for the sake of the two new precious ones, I hope your son does find the strength to stay clea  Have a wonderful, special visit  :)

Congratulations Granny. I wish positive things for our son and will pray he makes the right choices now that he has 2 sweet babies depending on him.

Oh Carolsclan,

I was so very shocked to read the news. It is very sad and I am so very sorry. My sympathy goes out to your whole family.

I hope you and your son will have the strength to pull through this very difficult time especially since you both have bipolar and I know how difficult this type of news can really throw you both way off.

I hope you get the much needed added support for both of you. Please call your doctors if things become too difficult for either of you.

I hope that by focusing on what beautiful blessing you still have in front of you will some how give all of you added comfort.

I will have all of you in my thoughts!

Oh my goodness how sad. All my sympathy for you and your family, Carolsclan. Let me echo Sukay and urge you to be in touch with your pdoc as soon as you feel the need, because you'll need extra support through this time. What a muck of mixed feelings you must be having -- a beautiful new baby and sorrow for a lost one. I'm so sorry. Please feel free to talk to us.

Thank you everyone ....

The surviving twin is doing well , she has been taken off the ventilator and responded to her mommy's touch today which has sent  my son and Sandy into orbit .... tongue

Im okay .. im taking the "relaxants" my pdoc gave me ...it hurts tho , my little boy has become  a man in  two days , no 20 year old should bury a child.

The baby is in a state hospital which is worrisome , but I have a wealthy friend who has made money availbale to transfer her to a better hospital if needed, in the meantime we have organised a baby expert to assess Haley and we( me, Garth, sandy and her mom ) will take his advice .

My hubby has dropped me in the manure a little by behaving like a toddler , he is on thin ice anyway .

But I have plenty of support beside him.

I am so sorry about the horrible news.  I am sure the all of you will get things strengthened out.  Just remember you have a lot of support here if you need it.  My prayers are with you all.

Carol,

I am so sad to read of the news that one of your grand babies didn't make it. Please accept my deepest condolences to you and your family. I will pray that your remaining grandchild gains strength every minute and pulls through. She has a lot of love waiting for her from you all.
