do any of you take this much medication?

I take two anti depressants, one anxiety med ,two mood stabalizers, one med to make me try to stay awake because all i can do is sleep. I was in remission for a long time but now i feel like my me need to be re evaluated. can anyone relate? taking so many meds and i have alot of side affects as well But i have got to hang in there and try whatever he recommends. i hope he puts me in the hospital tuesday bacause i have totally gotten to the point that I cant cope at all. I feel decent only a few hours a day. My husband has to do everything. I feel very guilty about that. anyway, I am getting off of the subject. would appreciate any replies. Thank you

yea i am very low and am gonna try to get admitted tomorrow, i am at my lowest low. i am like you, as long as it gets me back straight, bring it on. i am having bad side affects, that is one thing we will talk about tomorrow. thanks for the response

It's been a while since I sat down and counted my meds...  But I take A LOT.  Oh yeah, what I take is listed in the "sig" space at the bottom of the post.  BUT I take Lexapro & Wellbutrin, Topamax, & Clonapin AT LEAST for my Bi-polar Disorder...  AND this is while I've been "completely stable" for a number of years!!!   I moved & a new Doc wanted to mess with my meds, asking me if I ever tried LITHIUM--like that wasn't the FIRST thing they tried 20 years ago!!!  And he won't give me my Ulcerative Colitis Meds, unless I agree to go OFF one of the antidepressants--'cause "Reglan" has a risk of causing Tardive Dyskinesia!  NOW my UC is ALL F-d up, AND I think I need a little HIGHER dosage of the LEXAPRO!!!   I Wish YOU Well in Your Travails!
