My husband left AMA, as they sent in a Psychiatrist who said Stress Induced Pseudoseizure. I returned him to the ER 8 hrs later, after another ?????????????. Dr there said, "Get him back to VA clinic and ask them to do sleep study for Apnea, this is not seizure activity, more like narcolepsy and coupled with psych problems may be causing this. Excuse me but........................While I am aware he probably does have Apnic periods, it doesn't explain loss of vision, hearing, the ability to speak in an understandable manner, inability to walk or use hands and arms for 30 minutes to 4 hours after these episodes. We are both on Disability, so our income is very limited therefore access to Doctors is also. I requested all the EVAC assessments for the trips to ER for these episodes and will pick up Monday, then head to the VA again. Maybe somebody will get so tired of seeing us, they'll do something.
