Shaking Hands

I am on lithium among a bunch of other things, My problem is my hands shaking all the time, people stare, my kids stare. I hate it, is there anything that can be done?
I was on 1200mg and it was too bad to deal with now on 900mg better than with 1200 but still bad. I have a hard time even getting my contacts in.

I am also on lithium and i shake like crazy. my doctor told me there is a pill she can give me to make it stop it is a blood pressure pill. my problem is i don't want to go on anymore meds. but i told her i would think about it.

It's not just that drug. Many do that. (see my meds in my sig) My hands shake and it's noticed a LOT. My 12 yr old always asks why my hands shake. Imagine me trying to give them cough meds on a spoon. Yeah, most goes on their clothes and floor. They've decided they can do it themselves now. lol

boy u need to have an assessment for Tartive Diskinesia done... cuz some of that stuff can get to be permanent..

I used to have the shaking hands too when I was on Lithium in the past. You should get some blood work done to make sure your levels are not too high. And if the symptoms dont get better or become severely bothersome your should talk to your pdoc about it. Please let us know how things are going.
