I hope you are doing better today. In my support group we were taught that we had to slow things down when we were manic. I'll try to explain this....To do calming activites, like trying to go for a walk or spending time in nature, spend time with pets, have an outing (no shopping) with a friend...go to a movie, read a book (that one is hard with racing thoughts)....You mentioned religion...so maybe going to church...Hope this all makes sense.
Also, as others have said, meds need to be considered...Doc needs to be contacted at this point.
