hey all im doing much better. taking more effexor has helped with the fatigue and pain :)
And, i had the talk with my boss and she thinks im a really good employee and she wants me to stay as well as she was kind and understanding about the fibro.

Have you ever registered with a temporary agency? They have temp assignments, and some temp to hire, but that didn't happen in my case, just a "lure", but was still a great job/jobs. There's no benefits, but you get paid more. You don't get paid holidays. You can stop whenever you like, tho they will usually twist your arm to stay on if you're doing even close to good. They might call you at first, first thing in the morning to fill in where someone has called in at the last minute. They LOVE if you will go. If the pay for a particular job is low, you can refuse it. I always said, $8 bucks is better than no bucks. Anyway, beats sitting here.
The beauty here, the employer is usually desperate, and you need some skills, but not rocket science, and they are thrilled to have a warm body to fill the seat. Then, if you are clean, on time, smile, say hello, they are in HEAVEN. Some other employees may be cold, because they know you aren't in it for the long run, but sometimes warm up if you are quiet and pleasant.
Then, say you don't like it, too loud, co-worker is a pip, whatever, you call the temp agency and simply say it isn't working. Environment isn't conducive. They will call you with another assignment, may try to pressure a little if they don't have anyone else to send in, but you can be firm. You might then wait a bit for them to call in, but if someone else screws up, they will be on the horn with you quickly if you have a good work reputation.
This is also good if you get into some sort of cycle and can't work. You haven't promised to stay forever.
This gives you experience, and you get to see inside different offices.

I'm in a similar situation only I haven't disclosed anything. I have missed alot of time due to this and other illnesses - mainly CFS - and I've been given a written final. Meaning one more absence and I'm fired. And I was just sick Monday/Tuesday. Fully expected to be fired today and wasn't. Still expect it down the road - next few days. I did request to flex the time I missed but don't know how that will go over. The cyclical nature of it all - stress from work causes me to be ill, physically, and my mental wellbeing takes a nose dive. So I have issues at work, or miss altogether. Which creates stress because I could lose my job. Which creates stress about not having enough to pay bills. It's like a snowball effect I can't seem to stop. The point...you're not alone. I hope it helps just knowing that.

You made a mistake, happens. Don't beat yourself up over it. Mood swings make life difficult, but not impossible.
Re-group, re-evaluate, learn.
Hope you check out the Dept of Rehab, Disability, and temp agency. Since nothing in this life happens fast enough, getting the ball rolling on all 3 gives you time to still look for a steady job, and will save you time in the long run since all 3 things aren't likely to pan out.
Gotta take a shot in the dark sometimes.

Google Dept of Rehabiitation in your state.

I'm in California. And on disability. And old, 61. Pretty much washed up.
I went to them because I heard about it from our State Employment agency, was there to try and learn how to make a resume look/sound interesting with no good references, no recent employment, disabled, and lacking skills. It was a wildshot.
Their program offers assistance in getting you employed, and get this, whether it works, or not. Whatever you want to do. Even if you flub up and can't finish, or change your mind, its OK. They only get a little miffed if they have to "close" your case, because that means they will no longer make state money off you. I did that twice.
Most can be done over the phone, just a visit or 2 to the office, with an appt.
They cover tuition, books, transportation, gas, uniforms, "tools" (paper & pens, computer) and will even put a new transmission in your car if you can't afford to do that just so you can continue in school. How's that for a deal.
This is an opportunity, not a rip-off. They would like everyone in the state working and paying taxes.
Its probably different for every state, but as you know California's budget is in the toilet, and they have a very healthy Dept of Rehab.
Hope you find out good things from your state.
