Swearing Anonymous

I grew up as a middle child with two brothers. So I was a tomboy and i learned how to swear/cuss, but I never really used them on a regular basis. Now, it's unbelievable how easily the cuss words come streaming out of my mouth. And of course, they are easily set off when someone irritates me, angers me, spooks me, surprises me, etc. I started a new job on November 1st and so far, no swear words at work, but how do I get my potty mouth under control before it's too late?

For me, swearing seems harmless. My problem: once i start, it's really hard to shut it down, i get very agitated, i get loud and obnoxious, and i usually hurt someone emotionally and then I wind up into a manic episode and it will take me days to recover. it's like a tornado.

My psych strongly recommended that i keep swearing to a minimum. It's hard because i feel good for awhile after i let loose and ignore all of society's conventions, but the physical and emotional expense is too great.
