Pacing side affect or symptom???

I am bipolar and new to this community. I woke up at 2:30am Sunday morning and started pacing. From the chair to the door back and forth. To the living room to the bed room. This is crazy and time to end! Called my pdoc today and she says is it a symptom or a side affect and upped my depakote. I got to thinking this better not be a symptom! I have realized that I am nothing more then a medication lab rat. Anyone else feel like they are nothing but an experiment that isn't working out? Yikes!

I am rapid cycling too. I don't know how you can read while pacing? I just proofed my entry and found so many errors. I can't even sit still long enough to post. I can't deal with this daily. What is it? pdoc called it some kind of medical term.

tortoise11 Thanks for your reply. I take Abilify , Busbar and Depakote. I just started taking effexor for depression.
I googled the term and it appears to be what I am suffering from. I go to the pdoc this week and plan to address it. My fear is becoming delousional again without the Abilify(antipsychotic) and I am as I stated above tired of starting this and stopping that thus feeling like a lab rat. Not to sound childish but it gets really old.

me, seroquel and abilify. maybe starting another mood stabiliser next week when i see the psychiatrist. jamie
