Red,
I think your anxiety is coming from all you have been through lately. You are human after all and anxiety is a normal part of life unless you thrive on it and let it ruin your life. I have been symptom free for over a year. I have always thought that I was misdiagnosed and now I know it to be true. I was on vitamin therapy for about 3 months, it helped build my system up. After that time I slowly backed off and felt no different, they had done their job in the short term.
I have come to realize that good health does not come in a pill, never has, probably never will. I do think the PDoc put a seed of doubt in your mind, only you can weigh his/her words againist what you feel is true for you.
I get all the minerals and vitamins and anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds I need from herbal teas and infusions. No, not the kind you get in the grocery store, the kind you get from buying bulk dried herbs from a local grower and learning how to you them wisely.
Not to say this works for everyone, but it has made a world of difference in my life. Pharma drugs for me are only a very last resort. You have to educate yourself and it takes time.
A good website to check out is Susun Weed (yes, she is an old hippie) concerning Wise Woman traditions. Personally, I find it very interesting.
Red, so nice to post with you again. I have not been on the forum very much lately as I hve been turning all my attention to studying herbalism. But honestly, I thought about you recently and wondered how you were doing.
Green Blessings To You,
Gem
