Hi, Awake,
What works for one may not work for another, but I found that if I changed my diet by having meat in a meal in the middle of the day and having a salad at night for dinner--a big one if I didn't have a sizeable meal at lunch--made it much easier for me to sleep at night and remain consistently asleep until morning.
There is some logic to that since the system has much less work to do in
digesting a salad than it does in trying to digest meat, vegetables, dessert, etc. at dinner. Too, you are providing a large amount of water to
the system with a salad for dinner, and that keeps circulating throughout
your system during the night--water is excellent for us all.
I don't like to to do this, but it helps, especially when I have a number of
sleepless nights in a row.
Hope you're well and happy.
