Have you been careful about
your diet lately? No alcohol, no caffeine, no chocolate? They'll turn on you and it will last for literally days. If you have been indulging a bit, start drinking fresh water, as much as you can tolerate; that will help remove toxins that have been building over the last several days. (So will lemon) Many of our problems seem to come as much from diet changes as from the illness itself. When these changes happen, your body is trying to tell you to calm it down by diet, water, rest. Remember the four rules (given me by my psychiatrist):
1. No alcohol- it makes the illness worse
2. Nothing with caffeine in it- it makes the illness worse
3. Take your meds
4. Get a regularly scheduled sleep time in place
Christmas in France! What a great trip ahead! I hope both of you have a happy and calm time in a beautiful country.
