hypomania is not a symptom of bpd. Increase of energy, cognition, and mood is most likely a brain chemisty change associate with bp.
I don't really know what mixed episode is, but I imagine it is something like a bucket of water in a four wheel drive car in bumpy terrain with emotion spilling out in all different directions. That's how I get sometimes. It is also known as chaos theory pendulum (google it).
Knowing what is what is important - because managing bp is often dramatically different bpd.
As a dual sufferer myself, if I were to have the symptoms you describe I would be discussing increasing my mood stabilisers with my doctor.
Someone else might tell you that to cycle that quick must be borderline; but there is rapid cycling bp, and you can have "upper/short term" cycling within much "longer" cycles underneath. The upper short term cycles can also be bpd.
I chart my moods, thoughts, and energy levels for bp.
BPD means you have difficulty seeing things as they are (cognitive distortion), have difficulty inhibiting inappropriate behaviour associated with extreme emotion (impulse control), needless conflict (interpersonal chaos), an instable sense of self (Labile emotions). You can also chart those four characteristics.
BPD is more managable that bipolar, in my experience.
In short Forever, finding out what works for you, will indicate what is bp and what is bpd... it's so unique to each of us. Good luck with it, keep posting.
