I don't know about
the rest of the group, but I don't want anything that triggers anything! I've spent years trying to overcome triggers, and I like the feeling of keeping things calm and cool, pleasant and relaxed--at most, warm, healthy, and lively.
These postings are like that of a chameleon--changing colors at every turn of the page. First it is, then it isn't, then it's that--no, it isn't that; it's something else. It also needs to be integrated.
Alcoholics cannot integrate information, Mechanicalhouse, so you
need help to get things in order for your thought process. Medication may do that, or psychotherapy may do it. We really can't do that for you. We can tell you only what works for us.
We need to have something that can be gripped; that takes the calm, thinking mind that uses reason as its guide. (And reason isn't easily obtained. Socrates said we have to grovel for it. I think he was right.)
I don't know why you are resisting medication, Mechanicalhouse, but you definitely will be consistent with your thoughts if you will let your psychiatrist medicate you adequately.
Do you know that there are only 2 or 3 people in the world who can understand Einstein's theory of relativity? Even E=MCsquared is considered very complex physics. Please go back over Bill's post on page 2. He's on target, Mechanicalhouse.
I'm still catching up on rest from yesterday.
Goodnight, everybody.
