lamotrigine trigger depression?

I just diagnosed with boarderline bp1. I have been taking lamotrigine 25mg for a couple days and about an hour after taking it a just cry and get very sad....even if I have been fine all day. Has one one else had this happen or you think I am just going into a depression cycle? Thank you.
