Emotionally numb. Need Help.

I am not able to cry. I have bipolar11 , and on a few medications for BP. I can't cry, even when very sad things happens I don't show any emotion. It is horrible, I used to cry for everything. Now nothing. Lithium, cymbala, lamictal ..
I would love any help with this.

Go see your doctors, if your only diagnosis is bi-polar 2 you are on WAY too much medication, this is why you are feeling or not feeling the ways you are. I hope you can reach an understanding with your dr.'s i know from experience some of them want us to just take a pill or 5 and go away! But its your life and its worth more than that. Hope this helps.

Yes go back to the doctor. I was on Lexapro and felt the same way. My amrriage suffered too. I was numb all the time. It was peaceful but I could no longer be happy or sad. Just a flat straight line. Good luck and God Bless!
