Has any one had experience with Haloperidol?

I personally have not taken either of those medications but I worked closely with people who did take them. I managed two psychiatric residential care facilities for over 10 yrs. Haldol is an older medication and it is very sedating. Especially until it gets up to therapeutic level which can take 6 weeks or more. You may try keeping a small diary on how your feeling while making the change. Granted both medications are serious drugs with unbelievable side effects but when you finally find one that will work or a combination of meds it's so important to stay on that regime.
