I have lost faith in human nature.
There is a little kitten abandoned in a house for 8 days and the RSPCA will leave it for another four days.
It will be dead by then.
No one will help me with it.... and I struggle just to look after myself.... how can human's be so cruel and sleep at night.... leaving another living creature to die a slow horrible death.
I feel so traumatised and powerless. If I let the kitten out, I get charged with break and enter. I'm too sick to go to court. The stress of balancing my health with the kitten's health does my head in.
I wish someone would help, but everyone puts it in their too hard basket.

Hi LW,
I'm sorry to hear about
this kitten that has been abandoned. It is sad that the RSPCA is taking so long to rescue this kitten.
I pray that a miracle will happen that someone may cave this kitten or the RSPCA will rescue it before four more days.

Hey Jade,
I am so so sorry you are going through this. The situation with the kitten breaks my heart too. I wish I was there to help. I would definitely break the door down and get the kitten out...im not too sick to go to court and face charges.
The 'owner' is so cruel I agree. I don't know how anyone can do such a thing. It makes me so sad and angry.
Im always here for you Jade and I'm wracking my brain to think of solutions.
You have done an amazing job so far in keeping the kitten alive by feeding and watering it through a fly screen door.
I'm praying like heck that the RSPCA step up to their responsibilities or the woman returns and steps up to hers and the kitten is set free!
Thinking of you my PB,
Love and hugs,

Thanks Ange,
Contacting her fb friends has worked and I have a very sensible friend of her family who is letting me know the best way to make a positive impact in this situation.
It's hard work but hey, it is harder work seeing children and animals suffer.
Hugs,
Jade xo

Oh thank goodness for this news Jade!!!!
I was seriously thinking of flying over and letting this poor wee kitten out myself! What can they do to me that goes above or beyond what I have already experienced and survived?? Not a darn thing!
Keep us up to date hun and take care of you!
Love,
Ange :) xox

I will never understand people, honestly just do not understand. I hope that the kitten is ok and that the spca does something soon.

I keep focusing on kindness to keep myself balanced. Nope, no RSPCA response.

in other news the rspca may have just picked up kitty. I was asleep and there were 3 cars over road. I am disabled and both my carers cancelled today so can't check it out yet but will confirm when I can.

Whoopie!!! I hope kitty has been saved! Outraged and appalled over how long it has taken the RSPCA to respond and the lengths YOU had to go to to get it actioned.
On the brighter side you should be so very proud of yourself and your neighbours for having saved kittys life! It is a very traumatic issue and situation so well done!! :)
Glad you are taking care of you :) Xo

BTW, thank you for acknowledging the effort me and my neighbours have gone to save moggy. Yes the RSPCA have been appalling... but our neighbourhood response has been fantastic. We are very different from each other in our neighbourhood but we really pulled together for this little kitty cat :) That is what we need to focus on - that community spirit! :)
