So numb feeling, like I really could live or die and just shrug it off. Not even as concerned about
my responsibilities that I've always felt obligated to stick around for. Seeing the doc tomorrow.
I feel like I can't be fixed. Anyone have any long stable times they could tell me about
to give some hope?
Sometimes i am me (HT)...

Hi Audrianna,
Coping techniques help me. It is hard but we have to remember to use them. Things will get better. Hang in there.
Let us know how your doc appointment goes.

Thanks for responding. I really appreciate it.
I was stable for awhile, but something seems to have happened and now I go back and forth. I'm just sick of the back and forth. Hardly seems worth it to feel good and normal for a bit, knowing it is short lived. I admit I am weak at using skills and rely too heavily on the medication. It's just so hard to want to work at it when you feel so awful. But I know you all know that already. Guess I have to buck up and keep trying. I wish I had a counselor I like better. Haven't been going at all. Just to my med doc. Oh, well.

Coping skills are a major part in helping us to feel better. I too neglect it sometimes. But they word together with the meds to help us feel better. I would suggest you try them. It's hard, but it's worth it since it's helpful.
If you're not comfortable with your counselor, this may not be helping. Can you look for one that you're comfortable with?
There are also hotlines you can call just to chat if needed. They give good advice and you feel better afterwards.
I hope you will feel better. Please know that we are here for you. Keep us updated on how you're doing.

Today at my med doc, I talked to him a little bit and he acted as a counselor and helped me changed my thinking patterns a bit. I think I will just continue to talk to him instead of going back to the other counselor. We are at the same stage in life so I feel more understood by him. The old counselor too young for me. He is also bumping up my Latuda and seeing me again in one week. I think I will be okay. Took some steps to cope, like getting one of my favorite magazines and a movie for tonight to keep my mind busy. One day at a time!
Thank you so much. Really mean it. I'll have to check out the resources.
