I just went on Lamotrigine----the dr said you go from depression to well being. Any of you no how it works.. does it help you>>????/////

Everybody reacts differently. So I think in order to find out, you need to try it and see. I am sure others who have tried it will reply to this post...

I hope you get some answers, I have never taken it, but I am not bipolar, just depressed. Though I do take abilify which can be a bipolar medication.

I truly hope that it works for you.

Keep everybody posted on how you are doing.

i am on it.a mood stabilizer that is used for patients-and others with bi polar / mood disorders. i found it slow to start but i have gone off a lot of meds as the lamictal does an awesome job. hope this helps. as karen said, we react differently though.

It works well for me Caren. Have been on it for 17 months now. Hope it works for you too.
