Well I did get to go on a girls day in Berlin, OH. It's a town that has tons of quilting shops. If you are crafty it is heaven.
My daughter also got me the most amazing present for an early birthday present. She got me a dachshund. I got him at 6 weeks. He's now almost 9 months. He is so wonderful! It's like having a baby again, but he is great with his schedule. Such a lover and snuggler. If only we could show pics.
I've also been making tons of quilts. I finally made our quilt for our bed. It is a California king. I'm not sure if I told you but I also finished my parents quilt for their 38th anniversary. I'm also making 4 quilts for my son's football coaches. Since it's his last year with them I thought it would be something they can have for years. I'm not sure if the rest of the 8th graders are contributing but if they aren't then they are from us. Either way they are getting wonderful quilts. I finished the 1st one in 2 days. They don't have to be done till the beginning of November. So I think I'll be safe in getting them done in time.
My mood has been amazing. My np also said that I'm doing great. I just had blood work done to see how everything is going. Maybe next week I'll find out how it goes.
Hope all is well you everyone.

Lis, so happy to hear from you. I was a bit worried and wondered if you were okay. Thanks for posting.
I am happy to read all the positive updates. Sounds like you had a blast on your girls day. The dachshund sounds cute. I have a soft spot for dogs.
I hope the test results will be good.
Take Care

Sorry for not updating. Honestly I kinda forgot with all that I'm doing.
How have you been doing? Last that we talked you were still in a funk. I hope you are out of that and are in a wonderful mood.

Hope the diet is going well, and you're getting to kayak these days.

Haven't been doing the whole diet thing. I talked to my NP and she said it was probably because of my meds. On that note I'm going to enjoy my mental health and deal with my weight another time.
I haven't been kayaking. The weather has been great, but I've been so wrapped up in my crafts that I've been taking that over kayaking. Plus my son is in football and I'm always doing something with that. I'm saving up for another one so I will have 2 and then I can have someone come with me.

Man after spending the entire day yesterday at the fair, I was pooped today. Between getting up in the middle of the night to let the puppy out and my medicine I'm just so tired. Plus I haven't really gotten to see my daughter since she is showing at the fair and has been there for practically the whole week. I will be glad when it's over so then we can have movie night and just chill. Once my son goes back to school on Tuesday I'll be back to sewing and getting things done again.
Oh, I forgot to mention. I got 1st place for the 5th time at the fair on my tatted bracelet. Not to many entries this year. I still like to do it though. Keeps me on my toes.

I typed that my puppy was 9 months, I meant to say 9 weeks. Oops. LOL I finally got some time with my daughter. Yeah! Now I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things with the puppy and stuff around the house. I'm so tired in the mornings. Plus getting the kids getting up for school.
