lithium shakes need advice

take lots of meds but main problem is lithium i have terrible shakes because of it.my doc whom i dont get on with says there are to options reduce the lithium or put up with it,well i cannot reduce it because i fell worser if i do he says there are no meds witch can help is there any meds also my blood level is fine i take 1200mg thanks.

I myself have the Lithium shakes, but they can get worse depending on the other meds you are on ( I currently am on 5 different ones) so can I ask what else you take?

There are other medications for Bipolar now. Lithium was I think the first one and it sure helps a lot of people. I am on Depakote and that works great. I shake too, but I was told Depakote wasn't causing that. See if he has something to help with the shakiness problem. Seroquel sure made me shake more. Had to go off that one.
