 Hi everyone

 I just don't know much about medicine but I can relate to episodes

 I would like to hear of experiances if you got any that you'd like to share

 Plus I just wanted to tell this story!!!!

 I'll start off!

 Last night I was sleepy and after watching three movies I decided I'll go to bed.  Well for some odd reason i've been sleeping in the closet cause my bed is too high, plus it's comfy a little narrow but comfy...anyways.  My friend wants the new nintendo system and texted me worrying she might not get it because other people are already lining up.  I couldn't have my friend said so I run out of the closet told mom I had a mission and I might not be back for a few days...mother stoped me before I could get to the door with the car keys  sad  .  She insisted I told her what my mission was. I told her I didn't want sunny to be sad and since i don't have class on friday and she did I would camp out infront of the store for two nights till it went on sell sun morning at 12:01 and buy her the game for our sleepover so she would be happy. It seemed simple enough for me.  nono   not so much for my mother. We didn't have the money to do something that crazy even though I told her Sunny had the money to pay us back the second I got to her house.  Then she didn't want me to spend the night with a bunch of strangers....I was dead set on doing it devil but mom took the keys and my other friends started texting and distracting me with their news after awhile i settled down in my closet and fell asleep.  I see it was a silly idea but I wanted to do it. eyes

Great story Kimberly -- yes, these episodes can be really funny when you look back at them!

This will make a great thread -- hope others contribute! :) (I'm not trying to get out of responding, just I've not got bp so don't really have my own stories to bring to the table!)

  O thank you Rosie for responding...I was really hyper and couldn't stop typing hehehe you probably could tell huh?                         I was worried it was a dumb post when I read it a little later.  O well what's done is done 

I did got to stand in line with my friend at walmart tongue .  She was there 14 hours and I was there 10 because a family emergancie I couldn't go earlier.  She was the fiftenth person to get the system out of 31 one systems Wooo Hooo.  Thank goodness it wasn't too cold  that night, walmart said they would let us in a part of the store at 7 p.m nono   they didn't we stayed outside till 12:01 am.  It was really great I was camera happy and took a whole lot of pictures. eyes think i temporarly blinded my friend.  We got the system 12:30 am on Sunday and we played it all day with of course sleep time.

 I'm glad I was apart of it, we met new people and had a blast playing manopoly (which was a 3 hr game), uno and just telling stories.  :D

Just curious Har, how is this game thing worth 14 hr in line and $500? I have no opinion, I am just wondering what the attraction is. It seems to me for all that, the game should do everything including your laundry and grocery shopping. I have not been very interested in video games since space race although I did think Mario was cool, but I am truly curious as to what is so special about these games.

My kid never got interested in video games, he is a sports nut. Weird kid. Would rather play basketball, football, or baseball. So I only heard about these games on TV.

Hi Kimberly,

No problem responding at all hun. I haven't queued for that amount of time for anything (no patience!) but I have been addicted to a couple of games -- Anno 1602 and Championship Manager 03. Loved Anno -- especially when I got to build things like universities! Was very bad at CM03 (football managing game) because when my players got stroppy I always confronted them and was rated as rather "erratic"!

I'm so glad you had fun and met new people. That's what really matters in life. -- A bit of joy!

 We waited in line for the new nintendo system called the wii.  I didn't even get a system...too poor but it was rather an exciting experiance standing in line.  I know what you mean Rosie i have no patience either but somehow the time went by very quickly.  Umm all together I think my friend spent under 400 dollars.  THe system cost 250 plus she got the game Zelda (fell in love with it right away) and an extra remote.  I like this new system it's more interactive instead of the basic controller it has two that you hold in each hand.  In the game Zelda if you swing your hand like you have a sword your charcter swings his sword.  You can go fishing....though I wasn't very good at it, fish don't like me sad .  Ummm it was worth standing in line...i was looking all over the internet and in stores for another one for my aunt to by my cousin but with no luck did i find one.  So it's basically you get it before everyone else....I think...I'm not much of a gamer but I do enjoy escaping into a story.  Also me and my friend boxed with the game that came with it...very very tiring you move your hands like your actually punching.  My whole arms and back were soar yesterday T . T wasn't good for cleaning.  they also have bowling, golf, tennis and others.  You can also play gamecube games on the new system and the gamecube controllers work with it.  It's actually very nice system...You can also put phonto's from a memory card...Sd file (not sure) and have fun drawing and doing a slide show.  It just has a lot of things to do!!!!  I guess standing in line was for the real gamers that had to have it right now and couldn't wait any longer also for crazy me wanting an adventure.  Their were also people that bought the system just to real sell it at a higher price to make a profit T . T I wish only people who were going to play got to buy it and not others who just used it to get money out of it.  O well

Hope this gives some insight can't speak for everyone though....
