C2L and all of us who are down,
Depression is such a hard time; a hard battle. It's ironic that during these times we need to really fight through it, because the last thing we feel like doing or are even physically capable of doing b/c of symptoms, is fighting through it.
To cope, it's important to acknowledge your feelings and actions, and make sure you at least try your best to not let the depression take over those feelings and actions. In other words, try to get out of bed, even if it's just for a walk that might help you clear your mind. And then even just getting out of bed, doing the walk or whatever, will make you feel good about yourself, even if that feeling doesn't last. It will help. It's step by step, little things like that. Push yourself a little, but accept you may need a mental health day, but it will pass. The episodes pass. Reach out to your supports. Take extra care of yourself.
If you are changing doses in your meds, drink lots of water, take things easy. And if the side effects get to be too much talk to your pdoc asap. It's so unfortunate when our meds make us feel worse.
I hope you are doing better, hang in there, we're all hangin' with ya.
