I know there has been a lot of talk about
mood and anxiety w/ ovulation, and surprise Standford asked me to particpate in a reproductive study. They track your mood and appetit and many other things via daily cmputer check-ins. More impportant they do blood work to look at your hormones and other chemical levels at ovulation to see if bipolar patients are facing different isssues and how best to tret a patient throughtout the month. She also said that many find it helpful to just do the tracking and learning if there are changes they can make at the end of their 3 months in the study. I am very excited, although they have to still see if I hhave to stabilize more or if I have tto wait a month. Anyways its at Stanford and you only have to go there in peraon once so if your in CA you might want to look into it. You find out more buy going to stanford's women's health site and looking for the reproductive and Endocrine Function & Mood in Women w/ Bipolar.
