As a person with several diagnosis, I have experienced the phenomena whereby, one Doc, my pdoc, disagreed with how my PCP (primary care physician), was handling another disorder, in my case Fibromyalgia. For the Fibro, I recieve light pain meds, flexeril in order in order to manage muscle cramps, and a minor sedative to help me get to sleep. Decent sleep is very, very important. The pdoc was aghast at the meds for Fibro. He prescribed the Zoloft to get me out of the deep depression I was in.This is good because not having serotonin in my system was, of course, messing me up royally. Now, I have it, I need somewhat less pain meds but am not near the point where I can dispense with them entirely. has anyone else experience a situation whereby the docs disagree with one another?
