Hi gemgirl, You need to make eating healty foods a priority with you. Even if you are not hungry your body still needs something to give it energy, which in the long run may even help the depression. There are so many foods you can eat that do not cause weight gain. Talk to your T. and see if they can suggest someone who does not charge a arm and a leg. I am so familiar to the feelings of not being hungry and going 4 - 5 days with out eating, but I am a sodaholic and can not go with out my soda. Usually after not eathing for 3 or 4 days I remember that I have not eaten, my mood is way down and I snap or cry for no reason at all. They say to eat a small snack or meal 6 times a day in order for your body to have something to give you energy. Part of the problem is since you hardly eat when you do it goes right thru you system, which means ending up in the bathroom all the time. Start eating small amounts and eventually your stomach will become used to the food and you will not have to dash off to the bathroom all the time. you have to let you whole system get used to getting small portions and you will be surprised how much better you will feel. I am not sure what type of foods you can eat with your other problems but any kind of vegetable that you can steam is very non fattening and has a lot of nutrients you body needs, and you definitely need more fluids even if it's just water. There is a drink (in the baby section) called pedelite (not sure of the spelling) that would be so much better than just water. The taste is not all that great, it tastes lite watered down kool aid - at least the grape flavor does.
You have to take care of your self, body and spirit before you will start to see any changes but it is well worth it.
Hugs
Phyllis
