with BP1 and I don't know what the diffrence is.

Hi Christina,
The main difference is in the manias: the depressions are pretty much the same. But BPII's have hypomania, not true mania. Here's a link that discusses it:

That link says that hypomania only lasts a few days. My husband is bipolar 2 with hypomania and it lasts MUUUUCH longer than a few days. It can lasts anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months but usually 6-8 weeks.
