Celexa or Wellbutrin

I'm on Wellbutrin 100mg. for about 5 weeks now and notice I am
anxious and agitated alot. I asked to be put on Wellbutrin because I heard it
didn't cause weight gain. I'm also on 30mgs. abilify and klonapin 1mg

I'm questioning which is better ... weight gain or xtra anxiety and wondering
if I should try Celexa. Does Celexa cause weight gain. Cymbalta made me huge!
Does Celexa help with an anxious depression?

My hubby is on Celexa and tri-leptal and it seems to work great for him...he's bp1
and I'm bp2

I took Celexa for a while, do not really remember that it made me gain weight. I am a BPI and my PDr thinks anti-depressants for someone who is mostly manic is a no=no. I have GAD as well. Recently started on Saphris, new mood stabilizer, and it has seemed to take care of anxiety as well as balance my moods. The mixed episodes are still a little rough but over all it works well.

I'm on Wellbutrin, Sr and Trileptal and xanax prn and it all works out great for me for a long time now.

I hope you find a cocktail that works for you too. Sometimes is takes a while. In my case...a very long time.
