I've made it one full year with no alcohol today.

   A HUGE CONGRATS to you. I have been dealing with my own addiction issues and i can completely support and respect your accomplishment.  Keep up the good work, we're all rooting for you. Any success by one of us is a success for us all.

I have never had to deal with an addiction like that, so I can't say that I have any idea what it is like, but I can say that you have my full respect and admiration. Iam VERY proud of you.

How did you get sober? I am 6 weeks sober, not tempted, but know I will be...holidays will be rough. AA only solution? Help...

Happy holidays. Even better knowing you have one New Year's under your belt.

I can't say I have gone alcohol free, but I did notice that once I found the right meds for my bi-polar my alcohol use plummeted.
