Thanks for your post. I'm so sorry to hear about
your stepdaughter's illness. This must be very worrisome and stressful for you and your husband.
Delusions and hallucinations can occur with bipolar, but they usually indicate a pretty advanced state of mania. She needs medications and therapy. Once the mania is under control, she'll most likely have a more rational reaction. I hope her allegations are false, but I hope she also gets to the root of what is truly bothering her, whatever trauma that may be.
